Vision and Mission of English Literature

Vision
to become a developed, excellent and trustworthy program in the fields of English Linguistics and Literature, Translation Studies and American Studies, reclining on the noble values of the nation’s culture which gives valuable contribution at national and international levels

Missions
1. to carry out education and instruction in the fields of English Linguistics and Literature, Translation Studies (English – Indonesian and Indonesian – English) and American Studies in order to engender students possessing noble character, who are capable to think and act professionally as well as to compete at national and international levels
2. to carry out scientific researches and studies in the fields of English Linguistics and Literature, Translation Studies (English – Indonesian and Indonesian – English) and American Studies as well as disseminate the results through education, instruction and national and international scientific forums
3. to carry out community service to help solve problems and improve the quality of the society in the fields of English Linguistics and Literature, Translation Studies (English – Indonesian and Indonesian – English) and American Studies
